Tavo Rojas-Coronel, YCUP PDX Secretary/Treasurer, InRoads Credit Union

tavo rojas-coronel

Pronouns: He / Him

Tavo joined the credit union world in 2015 at Unitus, where he was hired as a part-time teller. He is passionate about teaching credit union knowledge and the impact on people's lives through the philosophy of “people helping people”.

Tavo attended his first YCUP event in 2016 and learned the importance of spreading the word of credit unions, finding/retaining talent, and networking. In 2019, he attended the World Credit Union Conference (WCUC) with the Unitus Board of Directors, members of the leadership team, and a peer from the HELOC team. This experience allowed Tavo to make connections with other YPs from around the world. Tavo is also a founder of the Unitus DEI committee.

In his spare time, he likes to go camping, exploring trails to find that picture perfect view. He is also a photographer, from portraits in a studio, to nature landscapes in the middle of nowhere.
