Description of Duties
Repack donations of frozen veggies and other frozen food into family-sized portions. Volunteers work in a room kept at 50 degrees and to keep your hands warm and cozy, we provide liners for your food-safe gloves.
PLEASE NOTE: The length of a shift is directly related to the amount of food we receive. The end time is the latest the shift will go, but may end earlier.
Requirements
- Minimum Age 6 (Adults must accompany volunteers under 16)
- Volunteers must be able to lift 5 pounds
- Stand on concrete surfaces for extended period in a (50 degree) room
